I'm sure by now, that you may have heard that I lost Eightball at the first of this month. Although it's been very hard losing 2 dogs a year for the past two years, I have also been very blessed by gaining a new dog each year. After Eightball's passing, I had Richie (Jodi's 7 yr. old nephew) spend the night and we talked about missing all of my doggies. As I explained to him, although it is horrible to lose them I won't even trade that grief for the amount of joy that I've had by having the dogs. If I had had any doubts about that, the laughter that Joxer has brought to my home the last couple of weeks is proof that it is always worth having a pet to love.
