Well, here is it, late night on Valentine's Day. And until just now, I hadn't even remembered that it's another one without Randy. It's just awful the way depression strikes. I can go so long without thinking about Randy, when something (usually inconsequential to everyone around me) will suddenly bring me to the brink of tears. I even find that every once in a while, I still lose my composure when a stray thought of Dad runs through my mind.
BUT, enough about that. The past is the past and life is still going on. :)
And life is going on here. I told Mom I would take a picture of the yard still the snow had almost melted off; but then today it snowed some!! It is nowhere near May yet, so that damned white stuff could fly at most anytime.
News Flash: Jodi's got a boyfriend! Between my nagging and her diet working, she finally decided to leave the house and try to have a life. During previous years, she was either dealing with a failed marriage or going to school. So now that she is no longer in school and has a good job, it was time for her to start living a little bit too. Speaking of her job, she's probably going to be starting a NEW one the first of March!
What have I been doing while Jodi was out gallivanting around, you're probably asking yourself. I spent several days during the first of this month kind of watching over one of my friends. Mike has
epilepsy and although he usually has 1 to 2 seizures a year, he had 5 within the last 2 weeks. Luckily though, it's been almost 5 days or so since his last seizure - the meds have probably kicked in finally.
Of course, ALLLL my friends have had computer problems for me to
help with. Carolynn (Randy's mom) got a new Gateway and we
reformatted her old machine. I also reformatted Jim and Mike's HP.
I've been considering doing it to my own computer but decided I
better use that CD burner I got before Christmas and save off my
data first LOL
