Week One  |  Week Two  |  Week Three  |  Week Four
Week One:

Click back to last month and check out the Halloween party pictures!

Week Two:

You're probably wondering why this update has taken so long. Truthfully, not much really happened. It rained some, and the sun shone some. The kidz are fine. I was sick some, I was well some, and I worked alot.

Week Three:

But, of course, this is the life of Leatherman, so a few things did actually happen during the last couple of weeks, and I did get pictures! LOL

Even though it's been colder, we still haven't had our first frost. And, as odd as it is, my cosmos have started growing and blooming (!) again. (The one's at Jim's house that we planted later in the season are still going strong too.)

Gabby seems amazed that the flowers are still blooming too.
And speaking of Gabby, MouseOver this picture to catch who she "cat"-napped with. ;) wink, wink

Since not much else has gone on, here are a few oldies pictures from the vault. I recently have been working on scanning in more of my old paper photos and thought these would be nice to share.

The first year that Randy and I were together, we were still living in Charlotte, but took our vacation and went to Ohio. Not only did we visit his family, but we took a side trip to Cedar point, where we bought this old-style photo in Frontier Land. Can you believe that we were this young and this cute? LOL (Oh, and this isn't a sepia tone colored picture, the yellow discoloration is just some leftover fire damage from our old 12th st. house.)

Then I also have this picture from the end of my time with Randy. The December before Randy passed away, we got to spend the whole week before Christmas in Florida at Disney. At the first of the month, Randy had spent 9 days in the hospital getting a transfusion and medication. We weren't even certain if we would get on go on our trip; but Randy got to feeling a lot better after his hospital stay. We had a wonderful time, in 75 degree weather all week. I know it sounds sappy, but it really was a magical trip. The only shame of it all, it that NONE of our pictures turned out, so this is the only picture of our visit with Mickey.

(These "tuxes" velcro-ed up the back and we were both kneeling on the floor for this picture of us at dinner with Mickey and Minnie.)

And, finally, one more picture. In the theme of the previous pictures, here's a roller coaster picture of Jim and I riding the Beast at Kings Island Amusement park in Cincinnati.

Week Four:

Since the weatherman is calling for cold and snow by Thanksgiving, Jim and I took a day to clear up gutters and hang up holiday lights over at DO and Cliff's house.

MouseOver for some Madness. LOL

Jim took the picture on the left and tried a little bit of artistic effects. ;) wink, wink

Happy Turkey Day!

and

the First Snow!

We woke up Thanksgiving Day to the first snow of the season. Although it's a pretty cold day, the snow didn't last long and was all melted by dinner time. If you can't see the snow in this early morning photo (those little white dots are the flakes), MouseOver to see the picture with a camera flash.

Time to mention some of the things that I'm thankful for this year. First off, I have to say I'm thankful for my friends. I can't (and don't want to) imagine what life would be without Jim, Do, and her family. ;) wink, wink

I'm thankful for my health. Although I've been a little more sick this last 6 months, I (like many of us) am still hanging in there and doing ok.

I can actually say that I've been thankful to have been working a bunch this last year. I quit working for Waikem and started up my own "Computer Tutor" business, and things have gone well.

I'd like to wish everyone very Happy Holidays this year. Good Luck! Stay warm and dry. Don't overeat too much! Drive safely in the bad weather. And when you're shopping is nearly done and the cash is running low, remember that giving people a smile and a "thank you" or "love you" is a pretty great gift too! ;) wink, wink :D VBG very big grin
