For many years, I've run a webcam, positioned on my desk, nearly 24/7. It
didn't take me long to start setting up more cameras either. My basic
purpose for more cams was actually for more safety and security about my
house. By adding LivingRoom Cam, I was able to keep an eye on my dogs;
while FrontYard Cam has helped me watch who was coming to my door. Some
of the cams, like Pool Cam, Puppy Cam and
Pooltag Cam, have had limited runs as special cams for some fun events
over the years. |

If you'd like to see what I'm up too while you are surfing through my
site, click this image to open a small window with only "mIkIE cam". |
 |
You can also set the cam to automatically
start up every time you visit my site. |
|
But, if you really want to see what all I'm doing, you should
actually use this link (http://reigningpages.com/cams
).
Not only can you see mIkIE Cam, but also FrontYard Cam, BackYard Cam and LivingRoom
Cam. I've got links to minimize the cam window to a small window, to send email, to my website, to my dogz
website, and even to a jukebox full of midi tunes. |

I've had to replace a couple of the cams over the years, not only as I've
moved about, but also because of weather conditions. At a previous home,
I mounted BackYard cam inside a birdhouse that I built. BirdHouse Cam
was cool as we caught birds flying in out and out along with watching
the backyard. At another
house, I mounted Pool cam on the roof under a plexiglas box. Both cams
lasted for nearly two years before the cold, heat, wind and glaring sunlight
finally fried them. |
