Not enough video is being recorded
Repeating Video Segments
Your camera is monitoring at all times when it's status is ACTIVE. It determines motion by comparing one frame to the next for a certain amount of changes between the pixels (dots of color) in the two frames. Once motion is sensed, the software begins to create a video starting a very seconds prior. (This amount of time is adjusted by the XXX level. The default time of two seconds is usually sufficient. The software will end creating this video file as soon as it's detects NO motion for a set amount of time. If your videos are too short, or you have overlapping scenes in several video files, follow this instructions to adjust the STOP DELAY to a longer amount of time.

1 Double click the icon to show CatSpy
(or right click and choose "Show Window")

2 Click EDIT | CAMERA PROPERTIES

3 Click on the MOTION tab

4 Adjust the STOP DELAY to a higher amount of time
This will make the software wait to detect a longer period of non-motion before stopping it's recording.
