November November 2003 November

Week One  |  Week Two  |  Week Three  |  Week Four
Week One:

If you didn't catch that October update in time, click here and check it out!

Week Two:

Even though I talk about the dogs more (well, they are so needy and pitiful, you know), I do have a cat - an ancient 18 yr. old cat. Normally, she hangs out upstairs on the waterbed. Or in the kitchen, hollering about her food bowl being empty (how does she magically appear each time I go in the kitchen?). For a change, Sheagra was out and about and decided to take a walk across my keyboard. As you can see, she loooooves to be held. LOL Not!8-} silly

If you missed the lunar eclipse this week, here are a couple photos just before the clouds hid the rest of the change from view.

Week Three:

Here are some pictures, from the Expert Auto Collision webcam, to MouseOver.

That's ME working at EAC

Tara and Austin doodling on the board

Austin found mom's secret candy stash

This month's gratuitous "butt shot" LOL

Boy! The weather here is always strange.
Within 24 hours, we went from a nice mild day in the upper 60's,
through a ton of wind and real tornado warnings, to light snow and only 30 degrees!!

The FIRST snow of the season!!

Mousover to see the first icicle of the year

It's the day after, but I think I'm still having flashbacks! Flashbacks of the 80's!! LOL Thursday night, Linda (DO's youngest daughter) and I opened an early Christmas present of a Duran Duran concert up in Cleveland at the Agora theater. Duran Duran has always been Linda's favorite group and it was a real blast going with her. Since she had purchased the tickets, I whipped up a couple of special CDs for her. Pulling from my collection of their albums and finding the set list online, I made one disc with the songs that they have been playing on this 25th anniversary tour, and another CD of remixes and special cuts that I found online.

As you can see from the pictures below, it was standing room only at the show, with us about 20 feet from the stage! WooHoo! :D VBG very big grin

Week Four:

DO's puppy, Rosita, is getting bigger . . . well, not that you can tell by these pictures; but she did gain a whole pound in the last month.
I think I want ANOTHER puppy too! :o) clown

Jim and I spent this weekend putting up Christmas lights at my house and over at Joyce and Cliff's place, while it was still nice weather.
MouseOver this picture to see how brightly lit DO's house is at night.

After putting up lights at DO's, Jim helped me put up a couple of strands of blue icicle lights on my front porch, and a string of chaser lights around my back fence.
Lookie!! It's Rosey the Reindeer! :o) clown

Thanksgiving 2003

Once again, Thanksgiving dinner at DO's was a grand success. :D VBG very big grin Actually there weren't any party-crashers this holiday (DO's house is always jumping. dancing ), so there were a lot of leftovers. (Yummy, lunch for me the next day!)

Linda and Angie chatting.

Jim is moving in on those desserts (8 pies!)
Kerrie and Kayle must have been starving themselves beforehand. Kayle has destroyed her turkey clean down to the bone. Hope there's more or Rosita might be in trouble. ROFL
Jodi and Ramone stopped by. The following day, they headed out in their trip, driving down to spend a month for Christmas with Ramone's family in Mexico.
That's Lacey (the mom), Rosita (the daughter), and Finney (the dad) chilling out with Linda (the mom) and Kerrie (the son) after the big meal. (I'm speaking of two families here. One is made up of doggies and the other humans. And I'll leave it at that. ROFL ;) wink, wink)
DO experiencing warm and fuzzy "puppy love" on a holiday.
Life just doesn't get better than this! :D VBG very big grinclapping:X LOVE

Old Man Winter is trying to wake up before Christmas gets here. This month ended with a little bit more of the white stuff. It's still not enough to really cover the grass; but it is enough with the cold, cold temps and the blowing wind to remind us, up here in the North, that winter is nearly here! :P BLEH!
